1 Unwanted Sexual Attention (UWSA): Reported in the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse, Volume 11, #1, 2002, editor, Robert Geffner, PhD. Survey participants were college women who completed inventories to assess forms of unwanted sexual attention prior to age 18. Study found 98.7% reported non-contact UWSA. Many of those reported as offenders were also reported as sexual abusers. The author further reports that child sexual abuse is "almost a universal experience for girls that causes significant fear and anger."
